THAT Council receive the report titled “Consultation Strategy for Natural Environment Designation in the New Official Plan”; and THAT Council direct staff to proceed with the community engagement and consultation as outlined in the report, of a proposed natural environment designation based on the Perth Natural Heritage System Study; and THAT Council direct staff to provide a report and recommendation on best practice regarding an appropriate measure for the distance used in defining ‘adjacent lands’ relating to areas of natural environment for inclusion in the New Official Plan.
